Vistar Northeast would like to thank you, our manufacturer community, for your continued support. It goes without saying that Vistar’s success in distribution comes from a partnership formed with manufacturers and sustained through quality, innovative products. With that in mind, Vistar Northeast is very excited to announce our 2024 Local MarketingProgram. Those of you who participated in years past have realized the impact in your sales by participating in the Marketing Program. The manufacturer partners who participated in the upper levels received substantial dividends from their participation.
We think that you will agree that Vistar Atlantic City Buying Show was very successful. The customer turnout was beyond expectation with decision makers from every meaningful operator represented.Collectively sales from customers attending the show were well over 300,000 cases. The customer appreciation reception was attended by 1,200 people and the buying show was attended by 320 operating companies. The 2025 Atlantic City Buying Show will be bigger and better than ever! With our combined efforts, customer attendance at the 2025 Buying Show will set new records. We are planning on expanding the show even further. We will feature anew interactive live ordering capability via mobile app, multiple opportunities for networking, leisure and fun.
We intend to grow, and we need your help. The customer feedback is that they expect enhanced deals, deeper discounts. They want a “BUYING SHOW”. We are asking that you offer a minimum of a 7% promotion. We strongly encourage all operators to write orders at the show and if you choose, you can “Sweeten The Pot” to get additional sales. Our strategy is to lock the customer up for a 6-week period with these discounts. Just think 350+ sales calls in one day. Now that is something no other buying show can offer.
Vistar Corporate Merchandising Team will also provide its full support for the program.
In addition to the many benefits of our partnership we are proud to announce that 1% of all Marketing Program fees will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Vistar has been dedicated to raising cancer awareness with our philanthropic efforts for the last 15 years. We have an exciting new opportunity to partner with St. Jude and help contribute to their mission as a part of our commitment to Corporate Citizenship – “Finding cures. Saving children”.
We are requesting all manufacturers to submit their participation commitment with payment by July1st, 2025. Vistar will charge a 10% Surcharge in addition to the marketing program fee via a SUPPLIER CHARGEBACK. All payments for show deals must be made within 60 days of event.
